Attachments listed for TTK and BTK were tested on a player with no body armor and no additional attachments on the gun.

The BTK shows very strong values for close range (0-30m) across all ammo types. It is also better compared to all other automatic weapon types. The High-Power Magazine version has an edge over the two other ammo types on this due to its increased effective range.

The TTK was computed by using the following formula: (60/Rate of Fire)*(BTK-1).

Going off the BTK values, we can see that for close range, the Standard Issue Magazine comes out a little bit faster than the High-Power Magazine. However, the High-Power Magazine starts becoming the better choice at mid to long ranges. Because of this, the Standard Issue Magazine comes out on top because of its close-range power.

Best Attachments for Close to Mid-Range

The PP-29 is one of the best guns from close to mid-range, with a fast firing rate and high accuracy. Using the DD Holo or the 8R Holo allow you to have a better visual of your targets, especially in mid-range gunfights where using iron sights are very inaccurate. Adding in an ARCOM Tactical Muzzle Brake ensures you have better recoil control to keep your shots precise. Using the Standard Issue Magazine will yield you the highest kill time.

Best Attachments for Long Range

While the PP 29 is best at short to mid-range fights, it can be used for long range if needed. Adding the TV 2x sight gives you a scope with a good zoom and reticle that looks very clear. Adding the Extended Barrel is a must, since it increases your overall weapon range, lessening the bullet drop at a distance. You can also choose to swap to the High-Power Magazine to raise your kill time against opponents at this range.

The difference between the Standard Issue and High-Power is slightly minimal at longer ranges, so you're free to stick to the one that gives the best advantage according to the map.

Best Specialist for PP 29

The PP-29 is a powerful SMG that is most effective during close-range encounters. This makes it great for specialists that have a more aggressive playstyle.

Specialist	Strengths
Mackay	Agile Veteran Trait gives him the mobility to win most close-range fights while aiming the PP-29. The Grappling Hook is a great flanking and re-positioning tool.
Sundance	Wingsuit provides many opportunities to flank enemy sectors and take them out using the PP-29.
Paik	The EMG-X Scanner allows her to attack or defend sectors, and dominate close-range encounters. Using the Scanner along with a Smoke Grenade is a great combo, as it allows her to shoot through the smoke.
