At the start of the game, Jacob meets another prisoner, Elias, who is still stuck in his cell. He tells Jacob that he knows the layout of Black Iron Prison and they both strike a deal to escape together, even if they have to go separate ways.

For the first half of the game, Elias guides Jacob throughout the Black Iron Prison. They are able to communicate by using the CORE devices transplanted into them.

Elias and Jacob finally reunite at the tram station and are one step closer to freedom. They have a heartfelt talk about why Elias ended up in the Black Iron Prison.

Final Moments

Their moment gets cut short by Ferris as he launches both of them by from the station and into the cold, harsh winds of Callisto.

They end up separated in the storm but Jacob eventually finds Elias at death's door with his suit was severely damaged.

Jacob tries to help Elias up his feet, but he has already accepted his fate. Elias dies and Jacob has no choice but to leave him.
