The BI-55 Pistol “Hand Cannon” is a Sidearm weapon in the Callisto Protocol. Read on to learn more about the Hand Cannon including how to get this weapon, a complete list of all upgrades, as well as how to use it effectively.

Players will be able to get the Hand Cannon during the opening stages of Aftermath. Once Elias hands you the blueprint of the gun, you will be able to purchase it for 800 Credits at the nearby Reforge Station.
Aftermath Walkthrough and Implant Bio Locations
Spending 800 Credits to print the Hand Cannon will unlock the Paper Jams achievement for the player. This achievement is tied to story progression so it should be one of the easiest to get.

Acquiring the Hand Cannon will unlock the ranged attack option for players. To perform a ranged attack, hold down the aim button (RMB on PC) and shoot by pressing the attack button (LMB on PC).
Note: Jacob's default attack will always be a melee attack as there is no option to hip-fire in this game. Keep this in mind as the controls get a bit confusing especially if you're getting mobbed by enemies.
The Hand Cannon can also be used to round out a melee combo using the Quick-Shot targeting system. Get that extra hit in by waiting until the indicator shows up, before aiming and shooting (RMB + LMB on PC) to perform a Quick Shot.
