All Enemy Types in The Callisto Protocol | ||
---|---|---|
Regular Biophage | Bloated Biophage | Mutated Biophage |
Biophage Leech | Spitter (Big Mouth) | Bloodworm |
Rusher | The Blind | Exploder |
Security Bot |
Description | Regular Biophages are the most common enemy type in the game, running after the player to hit them with melee attacks. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon and Stun Baton |
You can easily deal with regular Biophages by dodging their attacks and fighting back with your Stun Baton and Hand Cannon.
How to Beat Biophage
Description | Bloated Biophages are variants of Regular Biophages that take more punishment and block melee attacks more often. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Riot Gun and Stun Baton |
While the strategy for taking down Bloated Biophages is the same as Regular Biophages, you can wear them down faster using the Riot Gun and its high close-range damage output.
Description | When Biophages with tentacles are left alive for too long, they transform into stronger Mutated Biophages. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Riot Gun or Assault Rifle |
You can prevent Mutated Biophages from spawning by immediately killing Biophages that have tentacles sprouting out of them.
However, if an enemy does fully transform into a Mutated Biophage, we recommend using the Riot Gun or Assault Rifle to quickly tear through their high health pools.
Description | Biophage Leeches are small fleshy creatures that attack the player by leaping toward their head and suffocating them. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon or Tactical Pistol |
You can take out Biophage Leeches from afar with shots from your Hand Cannon or Tactical Pistol, or you can deal with them up close by stomping them on the ground.
Description | Spitters are large Biophages that spew out acid toward the player from its wide-open mouth. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon and Stun Baton |
You can disable the Spitters' acid attack by blowing their heads off with your Hand Cannon. Doing this forces them to only use their predictable melee attacks, making them easier to deal with.
Description | Bloodworms are Biophages that hide in fleshy masses and attack the player by lunging towards them with their extremely long necks. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon |
Keep a close eye on your surroundings for the Bloodworms' large bulbous masses and take them out with your Hand Cannon before they have a chance to attack you.
Description | Rushers are agile Biophages that can climb up walls and turn themselves invisible to quickly ambush the player. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | GRP and Riot Gun |
Rushers are extremely quick and can turn themselves invisible, so we recommend using the GRP to put them out of position before blasting them with the Riot Gun up close.
Description | The Blind are Biophages that cannot see but are extremely sensitive to sound. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Shiv |
The most efficient way to take out The Blind is through stealth kills with the Shiv. Sneak up behind them without making a sound and press the Interact button to instantly take them out.
Description | Exploders are Biophages that crawl on the ground and detonate themselves when near the player or on death. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon |
Exploders are extremely fragile and die in a single shot with any of the weapons in the game. However, since they deal damage in an area upon dying, make sure to keep your distance before taking one out.
Description | Security Units are the main enforcers of Black Iron Prison, using their heavy-duty firepower to eliminate escaping prisoners. |
---|---|
Recommended Weapon | Hand Cannon |
You can quickly take down Security Bots by repeatedly shooting them in the head, which is their primary weak spot.
However, note that Security Bots are immune to melee attacks, so stay out of their line of sight and avoid them completely if you don't have the firepower to take them out.
