Open Chests and Lockers

The Callisto Protocol - Ammo on Chests
Chests and lockers usually have ammo inside of them. Keep your eyes peeled so you wouldn't miss one, especially when you're low on ammo. However, note that some chests have worm creatures inside, so always expect one when you open a chest to anticipate the buttons you have to press once it happens!

Stomp on Corpses

Enemies you kill will mostly drop an item when you stomp on them. If you're lucky, you can obtain some ammo out of them! Note that it only works on enemies you killed and will not work on bodies already in the area.

Explore Areas for Ammo

One way to get ammo is to scour through the areas and look for ammo boxes scattered around. Do this every after clearing an area to avoid missing them and getting short on ammo when you need it.

Turn On High Contrast When Searching for Loot

The Callisto Protocol - High Contrast On
Turning on the High Contrast on the Accessibility menu will make every object more distinguishable in the game. It is extremely useful when searching around the areas for ammo since they will be easier to spot!

The Callisto Protocol - Ammo on Reforge Terminal

Ammo is available at any Reforge Terminal location. You can buy them using Callisto Credits.

If you have extra Callisto Credits left, consider buying ammo on the Reforge Terminal to stock up and avoid having an empty magazine for your guns!
