How to Get the Stun Baton

Obtained from a Dead Guard Inside the Lockup

Stun baton

The Stun Baton can be found during the latter stages of the Outbreak chapter. Once you reach the lockup after encountering an infected duo, you will be able to loot the Stun Baton from the corpse of a dead guard. This weapons replaces the Crowbar in your arsenal.

How to Use the Stun Baton

Used to Unleash Powerful Melee Attacks

Compared to the Crowbar, the Stun Baton has a very noticeable damage upgrade. Your melee attacks now pack more of a punch than before with options to upgrade the weapon to account for limb damage and heavy attacks.

Can be Used to Block Attacks

The Stun Baton can also be used to block attacks. Hold down the back button (S on PC) before taking a hit to block an enemy's attack. While a bit clunky, this function does come in handy when fighting multiple enemies.

Can be Used to Push Enemies Into Hazards

Heavy attacks or even just the finishing moves of your melee combos can knock enemies into environment hazards. Keep this in mind if you're either running low on ammo or have a GRP that's out of juice.
