Callisto Protocol - Colony

Colony is the seventh chapter of The Callisto Protocol's main story. Read on for a detailed walkthrough, list of rewards, tips for completion, Colony Data Bios Locations, as well as other strategies!

Once you arrive in Arcas Station, take a look around to get some items and implant bios before you leave the area. Climb up the wand squeeze through the gap in the wall. Keep on climbing until you reach the colony.
2 Meet up with Dani.jpg

Once you're near the colony, you'll hear from Dani telling you to meet up with her in the light tower. Go inside the crate to your left and keep heading down until you reach the base of Lowtown. Blinders will be walking all over the place, you can choose to either sneak away from them or silently take them one at a time with the Shiv.

To get the elevator up and running, you'll need the keycard. Go up the ladder to Midtown. Explore the area first before going to Security to get the keycard. The path to Security is through the General Store. Once you have the keycard, biophages will start spawning as you run back towards the elevator.

You'll have to fight your way down. It is recommended that you take out each biophage as it spawns, as it is easy to get overwhelmed when you have 10 enemies swarming at you all at once.

Once you get off the elevator, take the implant bios from the dead miner. Go up the stairs, and into the room on the right. Two enemies will spawn as you approach the room. Dispose of them quickly as they will mutate if not dealt with as swiftly as possible.

Continue up the stairs to reach HighTown. When you reach the sign pointing to the Bathroom and the Rooftop, go to the Bathroom first. You need to get the Gate Fuse to open the door to the Rooftop. The Gate Fuse is located in the room just before the Bathroom.

Once you take the Gate Fuse, you will have to fight your way to the Rooftop. An enemy will come running into the room, and more will come as you approach the Rooftop. You will encounter Spitters, Crawlers, Mutated Biophages. It is recommended that you take the loot from the crate in the Bathroom before you proceed. Use the GRP to throw enemies from the ledge to conserve ammo.

Use the Reforge by the Rooftops door to gear up for the next area. Follow the arrow and cross the ledge, then drop inside the crate to find Dani connecting her CORE to a dead person's. After the cutscene, you will find yourself in a deathmatch with another Two-Head.

Its tactics will remain largely the same. It will try to close distance before swinging its arms to attack you. The only difference is that now, a normal enemy will randomly spawn and chase after you as well.

Once the Two-Head is dead, follow Dani to the elevator until you get separated again after the walkway collapses.

She tells you that the way to the surface is just on the other side of the colony. Enter the nearby room and use the Reforge to stock up on ammo and injectors.

You're back in Lowtown and must fight your way back to Dani. Take out enemies one at a time before going up the ladder to Midtown.

Once you go up, two enemies will be waiting for you. Use the GRP to throw them off the ledge, then head straight for the Clinic.

Once Dani unlocks the giant gate, go inside the dome to learn what caused the outbreak in Europa and Callisto. Go further into the research facility to find the alien life-form responsible for the virus. After the cutscene, prepare to have a fight with the mutated Ferris.

This can be a short fight if you damage Ferris with your melee attacks. He is quick but his attacks can be predictable after seeing them once or twice. After the brief encounter with Ferris, Dani is now infected with the virus. You reassure her that the plan to get to the Warden's Tower is still on, and it may be the best shot you have at reversing the process.

Use the Funicular to get to the exit of the facility. Head towards the doors, and let Dani open the locked door along the way. After you open the door,this will trigger the cutscene and the next chapter.

If you missed the Tactical Pistol in the previous chapter, you can still pick its schematics inside the colony. Just go to the Clinic in Midtown and the schematics will be there.

A three-round burst automatic rifle assigned only to the elite Black Iron Squad Nine. Based on the UJC Modular Weapons Platform.

This fully automatic assault rifle may just be the best gun in the game because it works so well in both close, medium, and long range. The only drawback is that you get it a little too late in the game and you may not have enough Callisto Credits to fully upgrade it before you finish the game.

Colony Enemies Encountered

The Blind

The Blind encountered in the previous chapter is also encountered here in Lowtown. You can sneak past them or perform quick kills. It is not recommended to shoot one as it will alert the other Blind in the area.

Two-Head

This will be the second time you face a Two Head. It will have the same strategy as the last Two-Head. The only difference is the amount of space you will have to run through to escape its grasp.

Ferris

In this first encounter with Ferris, you can opt to not use your guns and instead focus mainly on dodging and counter-attacking with the Stun Baton.

Colony Tips and Strategies

Two-Head Rematch

This fight will force you to move around more because a normal enemy will sometimes spawn and flank you from the opposite direction. Focus on one head at a time, and circle the area looting for ammo as you try and evade its attacks. The loot boxes will keep on respawning during the boss fight giving a steady supply of ammo.

The key to this initial encounter with Ferris is to have patience. His melee attack is easily avoidable if you time it right. Do not waste bullets on Ferris as he is easier to stagger and take down with the Stun Baton.

Alex Wang: Miner Log 1 (Implant Bio)

At the start of the chapter, go down the small flight of stairs in front of you and head left.

You can find the corpse containing this Implant Bio right before the cave entrance.

Derryn Barr: Miner Log 2 (Audio Log)

After talking to Dani about meeting up at the light tower, head through the building on your left.

Once inside, you can find this Audio Log on a shelf beside the ladder going down.

Derryn Barr: Miner Log 3 (Implant Bio)

Proceed through the chapter until you reach a ladder with a Midtown sign and use it to get to the upper floor.

After climbing the ladder, turn right and enter the closed door marked "Unlocked".

Once inside, move through the house to reach the corpse containing this Implant Bio. It will be guarded by a blind enemy, so take them out before picking it up.

Yannick Sage: The Mole (Implant Bio)

After getting the keycard, call and ride the elevator up to HighTown.

You will find the corpse containing this Implant Bio immediately after exiting the elevator.

Buidhe Reddwork: HighTown (Implant Bio)

After climbing up the flights of stairs in HighTown, head through the first building on the right.

Once inside, you can find the corpse containing this Implant Bio on the ground. Note that there is an enemy in the adjacent room, so take them out first before picking it up.

Ji-Kwan Park: Miner Log 4 (Implant Bio)

After getting the Gate Fuse, unlock the Rooftop door and enter the room.

Once inside, turn left to see the corpse containing this Implant Bio on the ground.

Duncan Cole: Disagreement (Audio Log)

Near the end of the chapter, after the cutscene with Dani, exit the platform and turn right.

You can find this Audio Log on top of a box near the platform's exit.

Chapter Summary
Cargo
(Chapter 1)
Jacob and Max are flying from Europa to Callisto on a standard supply run when they learn that they have been boarded by the Outer Way terrorist organization.
Outbreak
(Chapter 2)
Jacob finds himself a prisoner of Black Iron Prison. When he wakes up, Black Iron is in complete chaos. Now he has to find a way out of this hellhole.
Aftermath
(Chapter 3)
Jacob must help Elias free the one prisoner that can get them out Callisto. Jacob must venture deeper into the facility to access SHU, the maximum-security unit where that prisoner is held captive.
Habitat
(Chapter 4)
Jacob has to rendezvous with Elias at the Tram Station in the Habitat Dome. These creatures have begun mutating, evolving into stronger enemies.
Lost
(Chapter 5)
Jacob is out of Black Iron Prison, but now he finds himself in the barren wastelands of Callisto. Dani has a plan to get to the hangar, but everything doesn't always go according to plan.
Below
(Chapter 6)
Jacob wakes up underneath all the rubble of the fallen hangar and learns the existence of Arcas, the first colony. Now he has to bring power back to the station to use the transport platform to Arcas.
Colony
(Chapter 7)
Jacob arrives at the Arcas colony and learns of the truth behind the Callisto Outbreak. Now he must race back to the warden's tower or face the consequences.
Tower
(Chapter 8)
Jacob finds himself a prisoner of Black Iron Prison yet again. Only one thing remains: he has to race against time to save Dani and get off Callisto.
