Why is it Good?
The True Fatalis has the highest possible level for its shelling type (level 7) and for a Fatalis Weapon, it only sports -20% affinity which can easily be offset by skills. Furthermore, shelling cannot crit so even leaving your affinity on -20% is completely fine.

The Conssumate Gunlance comes from the jho tree and is naturally burdened with negative affinity. Thanks to the Gunlance's shelling, affinity isn't much of an issue so this can be completely ignored. The Consummate Gunlance also comes with Purple Sharpness so slotting in a protective polish can help it dish more damage.

The Xeno Hamta is another Long Shelling type Gunlance. As opposed to the Consummate Gunlance, it has positive affinity and features 2 level 4 slot decorations. It however, doesn't have purple sharpness which can actually make it deal less damage on some builds.

For a weapon that causes explosions, the Lightbreak Gunlance is a fitting end game weapon for the Gunlance. It has 1 level 4 deco slot and 1 level 3 deco slot. The level 3 deco slot can easily house in Coalescence for some easy firepower during boss fights and it also features blast which can increase its damage output even further.
