Pink Rathian Hunts

Pink Rathian will be available to hunt throughout the event. It will also appear in Hunt-a-thons. However, there doesn't seem to be times when its appearance rate will be boosted.

Three pieces of equipment can be forged during the event, including a Dragon Element Hammer and Dual Blades. Each piece of equipment will have its own LNY 2024 ticket, which you can earn by defeating Pink Rathian and completing event quests.

Three Types of Event Quests

The Lucky Lunar New Year event features 3 different types of quests with different types of rewards.

Lucky Lunar New Year (Fortune Gathering)

Fortune Gathering is accessible to anyone and requires gathering Fortune Lanterns around the map. The rewards for these quests include LNY 2024 Armor Tickets, the event Hunter Medal, and Zenny.

Lucky Lunar New Year (Hunt-a-thon)

These quests will feature 5 different pages, including a final urgent quest against Pink Rathian. You'll need to hunt specific monsters and clear Hunt-a-thons to earn materials such as Pink Rathian Plates.

Lucky Lunar New Year (Challenge)

For those looking to clear harder quests, the event features quests that require slaying 6★ monsters. Among the rewards for these challenging quests are rare materials like Wyvern Gem Shards.

The challenge quests will be available starting February 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., local time.
