Use Gems to purchase items and double your rewards in Monster Hunter Now. Learn everything you need to know about Gems, including how much the game provides for free.
List of Contents
Monster Hunter Now features several ways to get Gems, which you can use to either buy items or double your rewards after every hunt. Here are all the ways you can obtain Gems:
You can obtain a total of 500 Gems for free by simply progressing through the game up to Chapter 6. Beyond this chapter, you will no longer receive free Gems unless the game changes the reward system in future updates or provides them through events.
Another way to get Gems is by purchasing them in the in-game store. This requires real money, and the cost varies depending on the pack you choose to buy.
One advantage of buying Gems from this store is that you'll receive a one-time bonus for each pack, meaning you'll get additional Gems for free with your first purchase!
If you want to buy larger amounts of Gems, you can check the Monster Hunter Now's Web Store instead. The web store offers several Gem Bundles that are larger in quantity but more expensive than those in the in-game store.
Some one-time Item Bundles can also include Gems when purchased. These bundles not only give you Gems but also include other items that would be significantly more expensive if bought individually. Just remember, most item bundles are limited-time offers, so be sure to get them while they're up for sale!
You can also acquire the Prime Hunter's Pass to receive 50 Gems daily. With this pass, you can collect a total of 2000 Gems in 30 days. Plus, you'll receive other benefits like extra Palico Paintballs and expanded paintball limits!
Paintball - How to Get and Mark Monsters
You can spend Gems to buy several items from the shop, double your rewards, and even get Zenny if you're running low on it. Here are all the ways you can spend your gems when playing Monster Hunter Now:
You can use Gems to purchase various items from the shop, including paintballs, potions, and wander orbs. If you find yourself running low on these essentials, this is a convenient way to restock. Just keep in mind that you'll need real money if you don't have enough Gems on hand!
For 300 Gems, you can double your rewards from every successful hunt. It's an effective way to obtain more materials from monsters, which you can use to forge or upgrade weapons. This functions similarly to the Special Carving Knife, so if you don't have that, you can use your Gems to double your rewards instead.
Special Carving Knife - How to Get and When to Use
If you're running low on Zenny for forging or weapon upgrades, you can use Gems to get more. However, like other items, this also requires real money, so consider exploring other Zenny farming methods first if you don't want to spend.
