Monsters are the main challenge and focus in Monster Hunter Now, which provides you with more materials to craft better gear. Check out the complete list of all current monsters and how to unlock them, their habitats and weaknesses, and upcoming monsters here!
List of Contents
Monsters are mainly categorized by size. The large monsters in Monster Hunter Now are the series' hallmark, each with their strengths to overcome and weaknesses to exploit!
These Monsters reward you with rarer materials to forge and upgrade weapons and armor. The higher difficulty monster will drop proportionately higher rarity materials.
Subspecies are monsters that have different appearances and abilities from their regular forms. They are initially introduced during limited special events and will reward players who participate in the event with materials to craft exclusive weapons and armor!
Black Diablos | Pink Rathian | Azure Rathalos |
Coral Pukei-Pukei | Nightshade Paolumu |
Monsters of the smaller variety are weaker and more common monsters present in Monster Hunter Now and will reward players with common but essential materials for equipment forging and upgrading.
Cortos | Jagras | Mernos |
Noios | Raphinos | Shamos |
Wulg |
Monsters are often unlocked as you progress through the Story Quests. You can go through these Story Quests by completing sub-quests that will have you gather materials, hunt monsters down, and use certain weapons.
