Utilize the invulnerability effect by performing a perfect dodge in Monster Hunter Now! Read on to know how to execute a perfect dodge and the effects of pulling it off during hunts!
List of Contents
While timing is key in executing a perfect dodge, the key to knowing when to dodge is knowing the monster's attack patterns or behavior during battle. To pull off a Perfect Dodge, wait for the monster to pull off an attack then dodge just before its attack lands.
Remember to always try and get in some hits while anticipating the monster's attacks and learning its weak spots!
Artful Dodger is an equipment skill that lets Hunters dodge attacks easier and perform Perfect Evades during hunts. Tobi-Kadachi's Vambraces has this skill on level 1, and even has an Evade Extender on level 2 that further increases evasion distance, so hitting perfect dodges should be easier to execute with this equipped.
After pulling off a Perfect Dodge, the Hunter will have a yellow glow as an indicator that they are invulnerable to attacks. Take this chance to continuously chain combos and execute special skills to dish out as much damage as possible.
Another benefit of executing a perfect dodge would be opening up opportunities to use special skills to perform hard-hitting combos and land critical hits to knock down monsters. This is the best case scenario to happen for a Hunter since knocked down opponents mean that their weak spots are easily exploitable while they're down.
