How to Use Friend Codes

Add Friends From the QR Code Screen

1	Tap your profile at the bottom left side of the screen.
2	Tap the View button on the profile screen.
3	Add friends via code or QR scan.

You can add a friend by typing in their 12-digit Friend Code or by scanning their QR code. They'll have up to 7 days to accept your request, otherwise they won't be added. You can have up to 400 friends, including those from other Niantic apps.

Unlocks at HR 6

The ability to share and use friend codes is unlocked at Hunter Rank (HR) 6. Progress through the prologue to unlock this feature alongside referral codes.

View HR and Equipment of Friends

Monster Hunter Now - Friend Benefits

You can view the Hunter Rank and equipment of any friends you've added. You'll also be able to see how many times you've hunted together.

Friend Code Board Rules

Message Board Rules

No submissions that are offensive toward other users.
No slander or harassment.
No posting of images that violate public standards.
Refrain from submissions irrelevant to this board.
No posting of the same contents repeatedly.
No advertising for other sites or apps.
No posting for finanical gain (via RMT, etc.)
