How to Beat Great Jagras

  • Stay in front of the monster
  • Attack the belly when bloated to knock it down
  • Don't stay on its sides

Stay in Front of the Monster

MH Now - Stay in front of Great Jagras

Great Jagras is a very easy monster to deal with, so maximize your damage and stay infront of the monster. All of its attacks are easy to avoid, so evade when necessary!

Attack the Belly When Bloated

When Great Jagras inevitably absorbs water and inflates its stomach, attack the belly repeatedly until it gets knocked down!

Don't Stay on Its Sides

Though it is quite easier to hit Great Jagras from the side, this is not recommended. The monster has a sideroll attack that has a huge hitbox so hunters at its side is more likely to get hit.
