Head Body Tail (Sever Only) |
Attacks to the head are effective both normally and when it's enraged. When enraged, its body swells up, and its chest becomes another weak point.
Deviljho is a fierce attacker and uses its huge size to its advantage. Because it's an Invasion-only monster, you need to be prepared to face it any time you start hunts in volatile territory.
When facing Deviljho, it is highly recommended to use weapons that can inflict continuous damage. This increases the chances of toppling it down and prevents it from moving around too much.
Some fast-hitting weapons you can use are Dual Blades, Bows, and Sword and Shield. Avoid using slow weapons like Great Sword and Lance when facing Deviljho, as you might find yourself at a disadvantage when using these weapons.
When enraged, Deviljho hardens most of its body parts except its chest, turning its skin red in the process. Since this is its only vulnerable spot, attacking it here yields more damage compared to its other parts.
