Your hunter has steady health regen in Monster Hunter Now. Read on to learn the health regen rate and the effects of Health Boost in regenerating HP.

Health Regen Rate

Heal 1% Max HP every 36 Seconds

Health regen is percentage-based, and hunters out of combat will heal 1% of their maximum HP every 36 seconds. This will work even if you're not currently playing the game, so take advantage of this passive healing if you don't want to use up your Potions or First-Aid Meds.

Rate Unaffected by Health Boost

As the health regen rate remains constant even with Health Boost, it will always take 1 hour to fully recover from 0 HP to 100 HP and from 0 HP to 150 HP.

This means a hunter with 100 Max HP will regen 2 HP after 72 seconds, while a hunter with 150 Max HP will heal 3 HP after the same amount of time. Both have recovered 2% of their maximum health, which follows the same rate.

Health Boost Skill Effects

Requires 30% HP to Start Hunts

To start hunts, you'll need at least 30% of your max HP. This means you must have 30 HP if it's capped at 100 HP and 45 HP if the maximum is 150 HP. If you don't use a Potion, you'll have to wait up to 18 minutes if you were completely knocked out to hunt again.
