Monster Hunter Now has missable features, like the use of referral codes, that you might easily overlook if you're not knowledgeable about it. See the list of missable features here and check if you missed out on anything so far.

Referral Codes can only be used at the start of the game, specifically within 72 hours from character creation. Beyond the given timeframe, you won't be able to input referral codes anymore, but you can still share yours for others to use.
Referral Codes and How to Redeem
Seasonal events can also introduce new and exclusive items, such as the Jack-o'-Head Pumpkin Hat, and there's a chance you might miss out if you're not actively playing.
If you miss out on getting these seasonal items, keep in mind that they might take a year to return. There's also no guarantee that the same items will be back as they may introduce new ones instead.
Make sure to actively check for ongoing events so you don't miss out on getting these items!
Some Hunter Medals, especially event-exclusive ones, are also missable. There are no other ways to obtain these medals once you've missed them, so make sure to always do event tasks if you want to collect all medals!
