Related Events

Hunting Zinogre is the last urgent quest in the Fulminations of the Frost Update. It will appear after defeating Barioth in the same questline. However, it will not appear in the field once defeated unlike the other new monsters.

Zinogre is exclusively available to hunt in Hunt-a-thons, where it can randomly appear as one of the 5 monsters you need to hunt. During events like Zinogre's Onslaught, its appearance rate is boosted, and can even be guaranteed as the last monster in every Hunt-a-thon.

How to Beat Zinogre

• Keep Attacking It to Remove Its Powered-up State
• It Will Do Its Air Flip Move Twice Before Stopping
• Roll Away When Its About to Slam Down Its Paw

Keep Attacking It to Remove Its Powered-up State

During the fight, Zinogre will enter a powered-up state, indicated by the glowing, standing hairs on its back. You can get Zinogre out of this state by repeatedly attacking until it staggers.

It Will Do Its Air Flip Move Twice Before Stopping

Zinogre will air flip twice, which can cause significant damage to the unaware. Always remember that it can do this twice, so time your attacks right!

Roll Away When Its About to Slam Down Its Paw

Zinogre has a long windup for its slam attack. It will rear its body back and aggressively slam its paw down. Roll away and wait for the move to finish before attacking.
