Rathian is weak against Thunder and is even more susceptible against Dragon-element weapons. Try to equip these weapons when you have them!
Staying infront of Rathian makes the Hunter susceptible to its fire breath and somersault attacks. Try to position yourself on its side at all times and dish out as many hits as possible.
The somersault attack is Rathian's signature move. This deals a lot of damage in Monster Hunter Now and thankfully, it can be avoided easily. Simply roll sideways as the monster is charging to evade effectively!
