Respawn Times: Gathering Points and Monsters
We regret to announce that we will no longer cover Monster Hunter Now as of Season 4. Redeem Codes will continue to be updated and you may keep sharing Referral Codes and Friend Codes, but other pages may be outdated. Thank you for your support!
Monsters and gathering points respawn every three hours, while the smaller varieties respawn at different times in Monster Hunter Now. Check out our guide for more information about gathering points and monsters respawn times, as well as about the 3-hour respawn cycle.

Large Gathering Points: 3 Hours
Large gathering points provide many materials and respawn after 3 hours upon gathering.
Large gathering points stay in the same location. However, the type of materials for each large gathering point changes depending on what terrain that gathering point is located in after the daily terrain changes.
Small Gathering Points: 15 Minutes
Each small gathering point will reward the player with a single material of that type. These gathering points scattered across the map respawn on random locations along with monsters at certain times of the day.
Small gathering points also spawn on your location regularly. After picking up these materials, another set will spawn at your location after 15 minutes. However, for these materials to generate, restarting the MH Now app is necessary.

Large Monsters: 3 Hours
Large monsters respawn in random locations every 3 hours. The type of large monsters that spawn will depend on the current terrain, which changes daily during the daily terrain change.
You can use paintballs on large monsters to save that hunt for a later time in any location.
Small Monsters: 5 minutes
Small monsters respawn approximately every 5 minutes around the player.
The 3-hour Respawn Cycle Times
Monster Respawn Every 3 Hours
Large monsters, along with small gathering points, respawn every 00:00 A.M. UTC and then every 3 hours after that. Therefore, like the daily terrain change, large monster respawn times will depend on each location's time zone.

Biomes Also Change Every Day
The biomes or habitats in each area change daily at 00:00 A.M. UTC. Therefore, the daily terrain change will depend on each location's time zone.
Each area's terrain cycles between two possible patterns: "Forest → Swamp → Desert → Forest..." or "Forest → Desert → Swamp → Forest...".
If a large monster does not spawn in your location due to the terrain in your area, you can wait for the daily terrain change for your area to change to a more favorable one where you can encounter the monster you need.
