How to Beat Jyuratodus

  • Attack the torso while 'submerged'
  • Note the huge opening during its triple mudbreath attack
  • Deal enough damage while 'submerged' to knock it down

Attack the Torso While 'Submerged'

Monster Hunter Now - Attack Torso While Submerged

Jyuratodus will periodically create mud pools and submerge half of its body so it can easily swim around. Aim to attack its torso while it is in this state!

Deal Enough Damage While Submerged to Topple Jyuratodus

Dealing enough damage while Jyuratodus is submerged can cause it to topple down. This creates an opportunity to execute combos and deal huge damage!

Huge Opening During Triple Mudbreath

Jyuratodus also periodically does a triple mudbreath attack in a fan-shaped pattern. This move has a long animation commitment for the monster which opens it up for attacks! We suggest using your SP move!
