Fainting during a hunt prompts Hunters with a choice to heal and continue or give up in Monster Hunter Now. Read on to learn all of the consequences of fainting during an encounter.
List of Contents
When a Hunter faints during a hunt, they can choose to continue hunting and recover using First-Aid Meds if available since these are always used first before Potions, or give up and get sent back to the overworld with 1 HP left. Always make sure to heal up whenever the health gauge is below 50% to avoid fainting during hunts.
Take note that Hunters with less than 30% Health are unable to hunt as a restriction, so make sure to have an ample supply of First-Aid Meds and Potions before heading out on hunts.
Make sure to stock up on Potions and First-Aid Meds to use during high rank encounters. Avoid fainting and failing a mission by healing up when the health gauge reaches below 50%, or when taking damage over time due to status ailments.
Aside from using recovery items, there is a Health Regen Mechanic that lets Hunters heal passively for 1% of their maximum HP every 36 seconds. It also takes an hour to heal up fully from 0 to 100 HP, so avoid fainting during hunts as much as possible to save time.
First-Aid Meds are being supplied daily by the in-game shop so don't forget to claim them! Potions can also be bought from both the in-game store and the official webstore, so stock up on these recovery items whenever possible to heal up when needed.
