The Dual Blades were added introduced in the December 2023 Update. It was released on December 7, 2023, at 12 midnight UTC.
Fulminations in the Frost Update
The Dual Blades are one of the most popular weapons in Monster Hunter. It boasts high mobility and quick strikes, allowing you to land blows with speed. One of the highlights of the Dual Blades is Demon Mode, which can be activated by pressing the special gauge while it isn't full.
Demon Mode is key to using the Dual Blades. Entering Demon Mode changes up your moveset and improves your speed and damage. It also allows hunters to deal damage while evading attacks with the Demon Flurry Rush, making it easier to swiftly attack enemies while ensuring safety during hunts.
To balance it out in Monster Hunter Now, this weapon also has a stamina gauge, which is the yellow bar below the HP bar. It will continuously drain during Demon Mode, and depleting it will end Demon Mode. There are currently no skills in the game that affect stamina usage or recovery.

The Dual Blades currently have no hold action.
Using the Dual Blades is fairly simple, as most of your damage will be through repeatedly tapping the screen while dodging monster attacks. Your attacks will depend on your proximity to the monster. It's best to stay in Demon Mode as much as possible.
Pressing the Special Skill button will activate Demon Mode. During Demon Mode, your dodge rolls will turn into evasive attacks called the Demon Flurry Rush, allowing your flicks to turn into attacks. You can maintain Demon Mode even when your stamina drains if you continue stringing together attacks.
One powerful combo you can use with the Dual Blades is the Demon Flurry Combo. This can be done by repeatedly tapping the screen while in Demon Mode. Do note that while this deals lots of damage quickly, it can leave you open if you're not careful.
The Dual Blades have fairly short reach, requiring you to stay close to the monster. You'll want to evade when necessary to avoid getting hit while still dealing damage. In fact, evading is encouraged in Demon Mode as doing a perfect evade will perform a Demon Sky Dance Combo as shown above.
Demon Mode changes your moveset to deal more damage, turns your dodge roll into an evade, and allows you to deal damage while evading. All these make Demon Mode worth using as much as possible, but you can't always have it active due to the stamina gauge.
Knowing when to enter and exit Demon Mode is key to maximizing it. Remember that you can keep Demon Mode up while a combo is ongoing, even if you're out of stamina. Try to keep it active whenever you can deal plenty of damage so you can slay monsters with ease.
Use Heavenly Blade Dance to deal heavy damage to enemies with a series of fatal strikes. This is activated when you press the Special Gauge when it's full. This special skill vaults you in the air and slashes throughout the length of the monster. This should be more effective against long monsters like Rathalos and Anjanath.
List of Special Skills and How to Use
The ability to use the Dual Blades is unlocked during Chapter 2 of the main quests. If you already beat this chapter prior to the update, Dual Blades should already be available for crafting.

So currently, is there no way to exit Demon Mode manually if your SP is full?
