What is a Shieldspire
The Shieldspire is a Palico Gadget that has the purpose of defending and baiting large monsters. The Shieldspire can cause K.O. damage and draw large monsters away from you given the right circumstances. The Shieldspire can only be acquired once you befriend the Protectors, a Grimalkyne Tribe.

| Shieldspire Taunt | 1 - 10 | With this ability, your Palico can draw aggro from large monsters and defend itself at the same time. |
| Shieldspire Bash | 6 - 10 | With this ability, your Palico can draw aggro and bash large monsters, dealing K.O. damage. You can also manually command your palico to do this this at level 10. |
| Shieldspire Stooge Iceborne Only |
11 - 15 | With this ability, your Palico can place a dancing stooge that can draw the attention of large monsters. The stooge can withstand multiple hits before breaking down. You can also manually command your palico to place this at level 15. |
