The Cryptic Letter is a New Game Plus unlockable Memo that can be found inside Pete's Bowl-O-Rama in Western South Vale. This Memo replaced the Lost & Found Memo in the first playthrough.

Key of Sorrow

The Key of Sorrow can be found inside a car in South Vale while playing in New Game Plus. Find the green car west of the Silent Hill Ranch and smash its windows. This item is used to unlock the Stillness Ending.

Obtain a Blue Gem for UFO Ending

The Blue Gem is a New Game Plus unlockable item that can be on top of a jewelry box displayed on the store next to Big Jay's in Eastern South Vale. This item needs to be used four times to unlock the UFO Ending.

The Crimson Ceremony is a book and a New Game Plus exclusive item that can be found on the north side of the graveyard in South Vale. It's also one of the four ritual items that are needed to unlock the Rebirth Ending.

5 Unlockable endings can be echieved by starting a New Game Plus save file. These endings add to the intrigue of Silent Hill 2 Remake's lore and explore other possibilities, but be warned of spoilers ahead!

Stillness Ending

The Stillness is a new ending that can be unlocked while playing a New Game Plus of the Silent Hill 2 Remake. This ending is quite similar to the In Water ending, where James drives his car to Toluca Lake.

The Bliss is another new ending that can be unlocked while playing through a New Game Plus of Silent Hill 2 Remake. The ending starts with James sitting on a chair and watching a videotape that he thinks Mary left for her.

Rebirth Ending

The Rebirth is an ending that can only be obtained by playing a New Game Plus of Silent Hill 2 Remake. This ending requires four ritual items to unlock it, and, in the cutscene, it shows James rowing a boat into the water while waiting for Mary to come back to life.

Dog Ending

The Dog Ending is one of the comedic endings of Silent Hill 2 Remake and can only be unlocked in New Game Plus. The ending shows a Shiba Inu dog inside one of the secret rooms, sitting on a chair, and typing on a giant screen.

The UFO ending is also a comedic ending in Silent Hill 2 Remake that is can only be unlocked in New Game Plus. The ending shows James getting abducted by an alien ship after holding the Blue Gem in a balcony.

Chainsaw

The Chainsaw can be found lodged into a log in South Vale while playing a New Game Plus. The log it's lodged into is in front of the Silent Hill Ranch sign.
