The Silent Hill 2 Remake safe code for Room 206 of Wood Side Apartments is hidden in a poem and drawings in the same room. See what the code is for light, standard, and hard difficulties, and how to solve the puzzle in this guide!
The safe code is different for some difficulty levels. It's 15, 11, 13 on light, and 13, 7, 11 on standard and hard. Turn the dial counterclockwise until it reaches the first number, clockwise until it reaches the second number, and counterclockwise again for the last number.

The safe code clue is found by deciphering the poem on the wall and the various drawings scattered around it. If you arrange the lines of the poem according to the drawings, you get the numbers, order, and knob rotation needed to open the safe.
The poem and numbers change with the player's difficulty level.
The room 206 safe puzzle is located in Wood Side Apartments. To access the safe, players need to retrieve the Golden Apple Handle from a cabinet in Room 108. The handle is used to open the Room 208 Cabinet, which can be moved to the side to expose a gap in the wall.
Opening the safe rewards the player with a Steel Key and a Coin with a man on one side and a sword on the other. This coin is used in the Coin Puzzle in the room behind the Reception Area of Wood Side Apartments. The Steel Key is just used to open the door so you can leave the room.
