Eastern South Vale Walkthrough

• Follow the Trail to Silent Hill
• Get the Auto Parts Key
• Head to the House on Martin Street
• Find the Radio and Defeat the Monster

Follow the Trail to Silent Hill

After the opening cutscene, head to the car and get the Map of South Vale. Head down the stairs from the observation deck toward Toluca Lake and continue straight through the trail. Check the well for a save point. After this, you'll watch a cutscene where you'll meet Angela. Keep moving forward until you reach a red gate.

Get the Auto Parts Key

From the red gate, go left to the Auto Parts store and enter through the window at the back. Go to the drawer to get the Auto Parts key. Return to the gate and use the key to open it. Keep going straight until you find a bench and trigger a cutscene where you'll get a map of the east side of South Vale.

Head to the House on Martin Street

Once you're in Eastern South Vale, you'll encounter a strange figure in the fog. Follow it and go straight through Lindsey Street and enter through an alleyway to head toward Martin Street. Crawl through a hole in the garage to enter a house with a save point.

Find the Radio and Defeat the Monster

While in the house, look through the kitchen drawer to find a Health Drink. Go to the room with a sofa chair to pick up the Radio. You'll also get a Wooden Plank that you need to use to defend yourself against the Lying Figure. Take a Syringe from the case and break the glass to exit through the window.

Head Toward Neely's Bar

After exiting the house, smash the car window to get a Health Drink. Check the Matchbook nearby for hints on the next destination. Keep going down Martin Street to and head to the steel gate to the right to find a save point. Turn right onto Katz Street and then left to Neely Street. Head to Neely's Bar to find a broken jukebox and another save point.

Repair the Jukebox

Inside Neely's Bar, you'll need to fix the jukebox in order to get the Neely's Bar Key needed for the next area. To repair the jukebox, you'll need to find Vinyl Glue, two broken vinyl records, and the jukebox button.

Obtain Wood Side Apartments Key

After getting the Neely's Bar Key, use it to access the locked room. Push the cart and climb it to reach the back room. Make sure to check the medicine cabinet for a Health Drink. Read the Back Room Letter to learn about a greenish-blue car with plate ending with 06. Exit the room and head toward the blue gate at the end to find some bloody clothes by the greenish-blue car. Interact with the clothes to find the Wood Side Apartments key.

Go to Wood Side Apartments

Afte getting the key, prepare for the Lying Figures that show up. Head toward Katz Street and use the key to unlock the Wood Side Apartments and the next part of the story.

The jukebox puzzle is the only required puzzle to solve as it's mandatory for story progression.

Grand Market Keypad

The Grand Market keypad is an optional puzzle in the East Side of South Vale. The correct code depends on your difficulty and can be 4442, 4444, or 4446.
