Head over to the Reading Room to complete the Bookshelf Puzzle. The Bookshelf Puzzle unlocks Room 205, where the Suitcase is located.

Once Room 205 is unlocked, the hints in solving the Suitcase Code can be seen by looking for the three photos around the room. The images on the three photos changes by difficulty.

Obtain Paint Can in Room 318

The Paint Can is only available after getting the Cinderella Figurine for the Music Box. After the fight in the conference room, push the cabinet, and then destroy the wall between Room 316 and 317. This opens access to Room 318 and the Paint Can which can be found on top of the coffee table.

Get the Boltcutters in the 3F Utility Room

Go to the 3F Utility Room and get the Boltcutters standing from the shelves.

Obtain the Light Bulb in the Garden

Lightbulb Location

Use the Boltcutters to cut the locks on the gate and obtain the Light Bulb from the fountain. The Lightbulb is located at the Lakeview Hotel Garden.

Shoot the Window Outside Room 217

Shoot the glass window on the balcony of Room 217 to obtain the Can Opener. A gun, shotgun, or rifle can either be used to shoot the glass window.

Retrieve the Can Opener in Lake Shore Restaurant

After the Can Opener falls from the glass window, retrieve it inside the Lake Shore Restaurant on 1F.

Combine the Can Opener and Paint Can to get the Open Paint Can. Then, combine the Open Paint Can and Light Bulb to get the Red Light Bulb.

How to Combine Items

Insert Red Light Bulb to Vanity Mirror

Head back to Room 205 and insert the Red Light Bulb to the Vanity Mirror. Do remember to remove the broken one first. The answer to the Suitcase Code will show up on the mirror afterwards.
