South Vale Otherworld Walkthrough

• Leave the Hospital and Follow Laura
• Pass Through the Lakeside Diner
• Enter Otherworld Eastern South Vale
• Head to Sanders St.
• Enter Otherworld Neely's Bar
• Answer the Public Phone
• Reach Otherworld Rosewater Park
• Go to the Historical Society

Leave the Hospital and Follow Laura

Exit the Brookhaven Hospital Otherworld then turn South on Carroll St. and into the alley behind Heaven's Night. Explore this area until you find a breakable wall near a flickering lightbulb. Destroy it and enter the Garage.

There is a save point in the Garage, so use it as you need. Continue through the door to catch a glimpse of Laura fleeing, then move a nearby dumpster to use as a boost to get over the door she was behind.

Pass Through the Lakeside Diner

Make your way to the Lakeside Diner, and enter the building. Fight your way through the enemies to make it to the other side of the massive gap on Rendell St. Continue all the way east down the street to find Laura.

Enter Otherworld Eastern South Vale

Follow Laura through the door to cross into the Eastern South Vale Otherworld. Upon entering the area, there is a Motor Home nearby with a save point. Use it as needed. then make your way east through Saul St.

Head to Sanders St.

Continue down Saul St. until you see a gap in a chain link fence. Squeeze through it, and make your way into Happy Burger. Beware of the many enemies in the building, and exit onto Sanders St. using a nearby window.

Alternatively, you may also make your way through the warehouse on the corner of Saul and Neely St., opposite the Saul St. Apartments, to get to Sanders St.

Enter Otherworld Neely's Bar

Enter the nearby Neely's Bar to find a save point. Use it as needed, then walk through the door to the left of the counter, and out the back. You'll arrive at an alley that leads to Martin St. Follow it, but turn left into another alley.

There is another dumpster that players can use to climb into a nearby window. Then, go through the gap in the wall of American Cafe, and be prepared for enemies. Exit the cafe via a window to an intersection of Katz and Martin St.

Answer the Public Phone

Upon exiting into the streets, a phone will start to ring. Find and answer the phone for a brief cutscene, which will give players a Letter that hints towards Rosewater Park. Take the Wrench at the phone after the cutscene as well.

Make your way west on Katz St. and north on Neely St. to reach a door in the wall. There will be a save point in the tunnel right behind the door; use as needed, and then use the Wrench to unlock the gate before proceeding.

Reach Otherworld Rosewater Park

Follow the tunnel west, and be wary of the Mandarins that attack you as you cross the tunnel. Exit the door at the end into an alley that leads to Rosewater Park, then make your way to the southwestern section of the park for a cutscene with Angela.

Afterwards, examine the base of the statue to find the Historical Society Key, as well as a message for James.

Go to the Historical Society

Use the nearby stairs to quickly exit Rosewater Park, and get back on Nathan Avenue. Follow it all the way west to reach the Historical Society.
