Preparation

FFX Vidatu

Stat	High Strength Stat
Overdrive	Auron's Banishing Blade or Rikku's Frag Grenade Multi-Hit Overdrives (Tidus' Slice & Dice, Wakka's Attack Reels).

Moveset

Osmose	Drains the target's MP [Used on party members with the highest MP]
Ultima	Deals massive non-elemental damage to the whole party/

Strategy

The optimal way to defeat Vidatu is to remove its absurdly high Defense stat. Rikku's Frag Grenade or Auron's Banishing blade will solve this problem. Follow it up with an offensive Overdrive and the battle will end easily.

Fighting Vidatu head on is not recommended due to its high evasion stat and high defense. If the party's accuracy is high enough with the Celestial weapons then simply attacking Vidatu will win you the fight.
