Preparation

FFX How to beat Hornet

Weapon Celestial Weapons
Armor Auto-Phoenix, Confuse Proof, Sleep Proof, Auto-Haste
Abilities Luck and Jinx

Moveset

Bewitching Stab Damages and inflicts Confuse to its target.
Venomous Stab inflicts Poison to its target.
White magic Curaga

It's normal attacks can also inflict status ailments and instant death.

Strategy

Keep Attacking and let Auto-Phoenix do its job of keeping your party alive. Hornet is a flying enemy but its evasion actually comes from its luck so using Jinx and Luck will be useful if attacks are not connecting ( You're going to need atleast 23 Luck to even out the luck difference by using these 2 abilities).
