Chapter Objectives

Objectives
1	Follow the path through the Macalania woods until you reach a save point and O'aka. Prepare for a boss fight.
Optional	Butterfly Hunting
Boss	Boss Fight Spherimorph
2	After the battle, head back to the path with the intersection point and head to the upper left path.
3	After reaching Rin's shop, take the path to the left for a cutscene and a battle.
Boss	Boss Fight Crawler
4	Once inside the temple.A priestess will come out from one of the room. Head to the room for a cutscene.
5	After the cutscene. Prepare for a boss battle and head inside the cloister of trials.
Boss	Boss Fight Seymour
6	Save your game and exit the temple and prepare for the cloister of trial.
7	Macalania Temple Cloister of Trials.
8	Exit the temple and follow the path outside. There will be battles whenever Guados reach you. Prepare for a Boss Battle
Boss	Boss Fight Wendigo
9	After the battle, talk to Auron then Rikku.
10	Talk to Auron then head back for another cutscene.

Butterfly Hunting

On the way to Macalania, you will encounter humanoid-bird like bards who will tell you about the blue butterflies. Catching 7 butterflies in both the Southern and Northern Macalania Forest will earn you the Saturn Sigil. For a guide on how to complete the minigame, see the link below.

Boss Fight Spherimorph

Obtainable Key Items

AL Bhed Primer Vol. XV

The AL Bhed Primer XV is hidden behind a thicket on the right side of O'aka.

Jecht Sphere

Automatically obtained after defeating Spherimorph. Obtaining this Jecht Sphere will allow the player to start collecting Jecht Spheres all around Spira.

Al Bhed Primer Vol. XVI

The Al Bhed Primer XVI is found near Rin's Shop in Lake Macalania.

Saturn Sigil

Can be obtained after clearing the Butterfly Hunting Mini-game.

2000 Gil

Found in the path to Macalania Temple. A hard to miss treasure chest.

Obtainable again, behind a tree on the path to Macalania Temple.

Remedy

The last treasure chest hidden behind a tree in Macalania Forest.

4000 Gil

4000 Gil can be obtained from a treasure chest near Rin's Shop in lake macalania. The treasure chest will be blocked by Clasko but will leave after defeating the Crawler.

Mega-Potion

A Mega-Potion can be obtained in the outer entrance of Macalania Temple.

Lv. 1 Key Sphere

400 Gil

Obtained by talking to the shivering albhed near the exit of the inner path to Macalania Temple.

Shell Targe

Can be obtained by talking to Tromell inside Macalania Temple

5000 Gil

5000 gil can be obtained by opening the treasure chest in the main hall of Macalania Temple.

Hi-Potion x2 and Remedy x2

Given as a congratulatory gift by one of the people in the lower right room inside Macalania Temple.

2 Remedies can be obtained inside the treasure chest in the lower right room inside Macalania Temple.

Phoenix Down x3

Can be obtained from the treasure chest in the lower right room inside Macalania Temple.

Luck Sphere
