What is the CTB

Count Time Battle

FFX CTB the new ATB FFX Beginner Tips
The CTB or Count Time Battle is the new system used in the battles of FFX. It shows the sequence of character and enemy turns.

Changes Real Time

The CTB adjusts depending on all the changes in the field. Applying Haste on a Character will change the CTB order to make that character move faster. The CTB will also show the turn order Before making the move.
