Used to Solve The Scales Puzzle
You use the Medium Weight, along with The Heaviest Weight, Heavy Weight, Light Weight, and The Lightest Weight to balance The Scale and unlock the next major segment of the game.

How to Get Medium Weight
Unlock The Headless Serpent Door
Upon entering Toluca Prison, head to the Chapel and first grab The Heaviest Weight on the table. Next, go to The Yard section and reveal The Scale.
Balance The Scale, alternating between the Neutral Weight that's already there, and The Heaviest Weight until you get the pointer aligned with the Serpent Icon.
Solve The Generator Puzzle
You need to solve the puzzle to overload the generator and gain access to the Death Chamber that holds the Medium Weight. Solving the Generator Puzzle also opens up all the cells within the area for exploration.
Prison Generator Switch Solution
Enter The Death Chamber
Head into the Death Chamber and find the Medium Weight on the electric chair. Grab it and head towards Cell E10. Open up the breakable wall and go through it, then turn left.
You should see an open locker there that has the Armory Key, which opens up the Toluca Prison Armory. Grab that too, then exit the Serpent Section.
