Hunt Objectives

No. Objective
1 The petitioner of the hunt is Gurdy, the moogle chocobo wrangler that you always speak to when hiring a chocobo.
2 He will be sending you after 'The Trickster,' a rare, pure white chocobo which is prowling the highlands of the Paramina Rift.
3 The mark will be found at the Frozen Brook area. When you arrive there, Monid, the bangaa, will be waiting ahead of you. He will be partnering up with you for the hunt.
4 Like Bansat, Monid will indicate whether The Trickster is on the prowl or not. Be especially alert as this chocobo uses speed and invisibility to finish you off.
5 Once you defeat The Trickster, return to Gurdy to receive your reward.

Gurdy's Request

Gurdy is the moogle wrangler that's always there for your chocobo needs. This time, he is in need of your help, as the white chocobo known as 'The Trickster' is running amuck high up in the Paramina Rift area.

Monid, Clan Centurio

Monid is a bangaa member of Clan Centurio. He also acts aloof with Vaan during the first instances of his introduction in the clan. However, for this quest, he will partner up with Vaan's party to vanquish The Trickster.

The Trickster Cometh

The Trickster is a chocobo of a different breed from the normal enemies. True to its name, it will use its color to blend in with its surroundings (invisibility) as well as its speed to finish off your party.
