Aside from fitting him like a glove due to him being a character with almost no job restrictions, Vaan's high-combo damage is perfect for the Uhlan job class. The though of Vaan wielding a strong legendary weapon like the Zodiac Spear must also give the enemy party nightmares. There are also spears with elemental augments, which could be even deadlier in Vaan's hands. |

Speaking of spears and lancers, Basch seems to have been built with the Uhlan as his Second License board job in mind. Basch is one of the male characters in the game with a high-combo damage ratio; taking the Uhlan as his second job, Basch will have access to other weapons--elemental or not--that will make fights easier for the player's party. |

Penelo is an unlikely candidate for a lot of jobs, and the Uhlan class stands as one of them. However, Penelo does have enough strength to have the Uhlan class make sense as a Second License job. The Uhlan also opens up options for Penelo to protect herself, if she already has the White or Black Mage job classes as her initial job. |
