    My health definitely wasn't low for "most of the game" (at least having the screen be red, maybe bloodstain on James back but I doubt it) and I got this ending without trying on my first playthrough. So yeah, the information in this article isn't accurate..

    I checked on Maria multiple times in the hospital and even got the dialogue for checking on her, i checked the knife like 2-3 max, i did spend like an hour on critical in the hotel tho cause i just couldn’t find any heals so maybe the requirement is mostly related to critical health
