How to Beat Fireblight Ganon

Observe His Attack Patterns

Watch Fireblight Ganon's movements carefully to see what he will do next. He will have a set of attacks at the start, and another set of attacks once you reduce his HP to half.

Fireblight Ganon Phase 1 Strategy

Enlarge Forward Slash	Fireblight Ganon raises his sword, and swings it in front of him. This can be easily dodged by using a side jump.
Enlarge Side Slash	With little to no anticipation, he swings his sword to the side. Do a backjump to evade it.
Enlarge Spin Attack	He brings his sword to his shoulder, charging to spin his sword three times. Move away while he charges.
Enlarge Small Fireballs	He raises his free hand, and throws multiple small fireballs at your direction. Move or jump away to avoid them.

Ice Arrows are Super Effective

Being a fire elemental, Fireblight Ganon is weak to ice arrows. Aim directly at Fireblight Ganon's eye to stun and deal huge damage.

Fireblight Ganon Phase 2 Strategy

After bringing his HP to half, the second phase will start. Fireblight Ganon will float higher, so you cannot use your sword most of the time.

Enlarge Protective Barrier	Fireblight Ganon will surround himself with an orange barrier. When he conjures a big fireball, he will suck the air around him, so use it to throw Remote Bombs at him.
Enlarge Big Fireball	He conjures a huge fireball that moves to your direction. Shoot an arrow from a distance so you will not get damaged when it explodes.
Enlarge Small Fireballs	Similar to the first phase, he raises his free hand, and throws multiple small fireballs at your direction. Move or jump away to avoid them.
Enlarge Flame Slash	He slashes his sword in front of him, or to the side, dealing fire damage to anything that touches it. An upward gust appears where he hits his sword. You can use it to float, or throw bombs.
Enlarge Laser	Similar to guardians, he will target you and follow your movement, and will unleash a laser. Hide behind pillars, or jump away just in time.

Take Advantage of Remote Bombs

In the second phase, it is not easy to get close to Fireblight Ganon, so keep using ranged weapons such as Bows and Remote Bombs. There are many opportunities where you can throw bombs at him, then hit him with a weapon when he is down.
