Wuthering Waves for PlayStation 5 launches on January 2, 2025
The PS5 version will release on January 2, 2025, on the same date as the Version 2.0 patch. PlayStation players will be able to play the game with the introduction of the new region, Rinascita, as well as with the new Resonators like Phoebe and Zani.

During The Game Awards 2024's livestream, Wuthering Waves developers Kuro Game released a teaser for the upcoming version 2.0 to showcase new mechanics and the new region, Rinascita. Players were also reminded that the PlayStation 5 release for Wuthering Waves will arrive on January 2, 2025, coinciding with the version 2.0 release.
May 22 | Official Release
Wuthering Waves was officially released worldwide, with servers going live and the game becoming available for download on PC and mobile.
March 29 | Release Date Reveal
The official release date for Wuthering Waves was announced, alongside a cinematic trailer showcasing the game’s story and characters. Pre-registration also opened, offering in-game rewards for early sign-ups.
