You are required to defeat Behemoth to retrieve the Mech Part necessary to disable the force field around Chrono Tower.

Behemoth's body is completely protected from firearms except for its four eyes. Keep shooting its eyes to pop them one at a time. You have to pop all of them to defeat Behemoth.
Behemoth will shoot multiple projectiles from its three mouths. Simply dodge out of the way to avoid them all. Note that before it performs this attack, Behemoth will emit a non-damaging shockwave that slightly pushes you back.
Behemoth performs an attack where it slams its body onto the ground, creating a shockwave. Jump over it to evade it. Like its lava projectile attack, Behemoth will emit a smaller shockwave that pushes you back.
Behemoth also performs a ram attack where it charges toward you. Move away from it when it makes its charge, causing it to hit the stage wall. Because of its slow speed, it is possible to simply strafe to the side to avoid it.

You can freeze Behemoth's three mouths with Ice Shot to temporarily block them from shooting its lava projectiles. To switch to the Ice Shot, press the up directional button then shoot with the R trigger.
