Area: Ladder of Thought Shrine Required Upgrade: Fire Shot How to Get: Use Psychic to lift the platforms then jump on top, Use Fire Shot to burn the webs to the right, or the door to reveal a hole. Enter using Morph Ball, then jump and use a Morph Bomb midair. Jump again when the bomb explodes to gain a boost and enter the hole. Find the Energy tank at the end. |

Area: Power Generator Required Upgrade: None How to Get: In the Generator room, drop down and find a panel you can interact with to open a Morph Ball tunnel. Break the grate, go through and avoid the electric currents. Advance to the far end and go right to find a grate you can break; the upgrade is on the other side. |

Area: Ice Canyon Required Upgrade: Psychic Boots How to Get: Go to the corridor with an opening to the outside and drop down to a ledge below. Go across the bridges to see this upgrade on a distant platform. Scan the Psychic Platforms up and to the left of it and jump across to reach it. |

Area: Storage Room Required Upgrade: Psychic Visor How to Get: In the back of the room, scan the Psychic Container and move the node along the path to reveal the Energy Tank. |

Area: Volcano Heart Required Upgrade: Vi-O-La IC Suit How to Get: Shoot the chest and when you try to grab the upgrade, an enemy will grab it and swim away. Use the B-button Boost to approach it and shoot it with your A-button attack when close; repeat this until it dies and grab the upgrade. You can shoot the enemies in the area to get more Boosts. |

Area: Level 3 - Chasm Required Upgrade: Psychic Power Bomb How to Get: Go to the 3rd floor via the Pit area in the 2nd floor. Use Psychic Power Bombs to break the walls then use Psychic Boost Ball together with the control stick to get momentum to reach the tether. Then use bomb jump using your Psychic Bombs and Morph Ball with the right timing to get the extra height needed for the upgrade. |

Area: Main Shaft - Level 2 Required Upgrade: Psychic Boost Ball How to Get: Use the Psychic Boost Ball on the Spinner to reveal a bridge, then scan the Psychic motes and use the Psychic Boots to jump across the platforms and obtain the upgrade. |

What Are Energy Tanks?
Increases Health Capacity
Each Energy Tank you acquire grants you an extra 100 Energy (Health) on top of your current energy, making Samus a lot more durable in combat. These are stored as the light blue box icons on top of your health.
Upon reaching 0 energy, an Energy Tank is consumed but can be restored when you return to a Save Station for Casual and Normal difficulties. This helps a lot in exploration when dealing with enemies and bosses in Viewros.
