Clear the Great Mines until you reach Level 3 of the Crystal Extraction sub-area to defeat the Omega Griever and get the Psychic Power Bomb after his defeat.

Energy Tank 1
Location: Great Mines Area: Level 3 - Chasm How to Get: Go to the 3rd floor via the Pit area in the 2nd floor. Use Psychic Power Bombs to break the walls then use Psychic Boost Ball together with the control stick to get momentum to reach the tether. Then use bomb jump using your Psychic Bombs and Morph Ball with the right timing to get the extra height needed for the upgrade. |

Location: Great Mines Area: Level 2 - Easing Tunnel How to Get: Use the Psychic Power Bomb on the Bomb Slot in the wall to make a cart appear. Shoot the ore in the cart with a Super Missile to reveal the upgrade. |

Location: Great Mines Area: Level 1 - Garnbocask Site B How to Get: Use a Psychic Power Bomb to destroy the ore wall. Find the upgrade in the room on the other side. |

Location: Fury Green Area: Quiet Clearing How to Get: Scan the cracked statue to find that there is an item inside. Use the Psychic Power Bomb to blow up the statue and find the upgrade inside. |

Mech Part
Location: Sol Valley Area: Eastern G.F. Debris How to Get: It will be eaten by Varmis. Defeat it in a boss fight by targeting and shooting its tail with Vi-O-La's A-button shot to slow it down, then using the B-button boost to slam into it. At the end, go in its mouth with the Morph Ball and use a Psychic Power Bomb to blow up the container and Varmis with it, and get the Mech Part. |

Location: Flare Pool Area: Scrapyard How to Get: Use the Psychic Power Bomb to blow up the debris, then use the Psychic Spider Node to climb up the Magnetic Track and reach the upgrade. |
