Psychic Boots is a Psychic Ability that unlocks the Double Jump, also known as the Space Jump, in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Learn the effects of the Psychic Boots, how to unlock them, and how to Double Jump.

To perform a space jump, simply press the B or L button while in the air. This will cause Samus to do a double jump, allowing her to scale larger areas and platforms.

Continue exploring Volt Forge and you will encounter more towers ahead and a driving test for Vi-O-La, finish this and continue until you reach Tower 3, where Xelios is located. Defeat the boss to acquire the Psychic Boots.

Location: Ice Belt Area: Ice Canyon How to Get: Go to the corridor with an opening to the outside and drop down to a ledge below. Go across the bridges to see this upgrade on a distant platform. Scan the Psychic Platforms up and to the left of it and jump across to reach it. |

These are all the collectibles unlocked primarily with the Psychic Boots upgrade. The Psychic Boots opens up better movement options by allowing Samus to jump twice and step on psychic platforms, allowing access to previously inaccessible upgrades.
