1. Unlock the Shrine With Thunder Shot
To reach the puzzle of the Floating Path Shrine, players will need to unlock an elevator with a Thunder Shot and take it down into the shrine proper.
2. Proceed Deeper Into the Shrine
Once the elevator finishes descending, proceed further into the shrine until you come across a room with a pool of liquid, at the bottom. Do not touch the liquid, as this spawns Neo Rootspurs that attacks Samus.
3. Use Psychic Motes to Activate Platforms
Instead, use the Psychic Visor to locate two Psychic Motes nearby. You can place these motes into the sockets on the walls surrounding the gap to pull out platforms that Samus can jump to and stand on.
4. Alternate Active Platforms to Cross the Gap
Since you only have access to two motes, you will have to alternate them by jumping on a platform, and collecting the mote from the previous platform to use for the next one. Start with the closest platform on the right, and work your way forward.
Double Jump Makes the Puzzle Easier
If you have the Double Jump upgrade while doing this puzzle, you can use it to cross wider gaps and skip some platforms while moving towards the other end of the room.

5. Use a Psychic Mote to Unlock the Door
Once you're at the other end of this room, collect one mote and place it into the socket at the top of the door. Then, unlock the door and proceed through it to claim your reward.

The Floating Path shrine is located near the central area of Sol Valley, a little bit to the south. Entering the Shrine will require the Thunder Shot upgrade.

Floating Path Shrine Puzzle Rewards
Upgrades the Ice Shot
The reward for the Floating Path Shrine is an upgrade for Samus' Ice Shot. Initially, it will grant the Charged Ice Shot, but if you've completed the Source of Spring shrine before this one, you will instead get the Super Ice Shot.
