Viewros is the planet where Metroid Prime 4: Beyond takes place, and your main zone of exploration here is called Sol Valley, a huge and vast open-world desert that can be explored interspaced with 6 major areas to visit!

Area: Ladder of Thought Shrine Required Upgrade: Fire Shot How to Get: Use Psychic to lift the platforms then jump on top, Use Fire Shot to burn the webs to the right, or the door to reveal a hole. Enter using Morph Ball, then jump and use a Morph Bomb midair. Jump again when the bomb explodes to gain a boost and enter the hole. Find the Energy tank at the end. |

Area: Western G.F. Debris Required Upgrade: Control Beam How to Get: Climb up the structures to see the Missile Expansion across the gap. Look up and scan the tower. Use your Control Beam to go through the metal hoop at the base of the tower and hit the center of the target to make it fall. Use the newly revealed grapple to get across and reach the upgrade. |

Defeat it in a boss fight by targeting and shooting its tail with Vi-O-La's A-button shot to slow it down, then using the B-button boost to slam into it. At the end, go in its mouth with the Morph Ball and use a Psychic Power Bomb to blow up the container and Varmis with it, and get the Mech Part. |

There are seven major areas in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond where Samus' adventures took place, namely:

Fury Green is a lush, overgrown and biologically-themed biome that players will first encounter in the series. Being the first area the player will visit, they will introduce you to the basics of exploration while also giving new enemies to fight!

The Ice Belt is an isolated region of snow-covered facilities used for research by the former civilization that once lived in Viewros, this area is a mix of internal and outside environments paired with snowy aesthetics.

The Flare Pool is another research facility made by the former people of Viewros, this time situated in the center of a volcano, with massive lava pits and surrounding the base.

The Great Mines is a site that goes deep underground equipped with a massive elevator at its center. With the discovery of the Buros Crystal, it became the catalyst for evolving the mechanical civilization into a psychic civilization.

Chrono Tower is a huge tower built in the center of Sol Valley. It stands as a symbol of psychic civilization; every element—doors, elevators, and more—is engineered to respond to psychic power, barring entry to those without psychic abilities unless guided by a Guardian.

Sol Valley's vast and mysterious areas are full of collectibles for Samus to discover. These collectibles can upgrade her utilities, boost Vi-O-La, or even progress the story.

Each Energy Tank you acquire grants you an extra 100 Energy (Health) on top of your current energy. These are stored as the light blue box icons on top of your health.
All Energy Tank Locations

Each expansion you acquire slightly increases your missile capacity by 5. These missiles can be refreshed whenever you access a save station, or when an enemy drops missile loot.
All Missile Expansion Locations

Each Shot Expansion you acquire slightly increases your maximum elemental Shot Ammo Capacity by 10. This will apply to your Ice Shot, Fire Shot, Electro Shots once you have the necessary upgrade attached by MacKenzie.
All Shot Expansion Locations

Psychic Power Bomb Expansions increase the amount of times you can use Psychic Power Bombs before you need an ammo refill.
The Psychic Power Bomb is a more powerful version of the Psychic Bomb, which are used to break small and simple obstacles. Psychic Power Bombs can break harder materials and can also be infused with Mote properties.

Scout Bots provide information on the collectibles that are hidden throughout each major area. Upon activating them, collectible icons are displayed on the map for players to check and follow.

Endgame Spoilers: You begin collecting Mech Parts during the final section of the game, as you need them to bring down the force field around Chrono Tower, allowing you to enter it and fight Sylux.
All Mech Part Locations

Boost Tanks increase your maximum boost capacity by 1, giving you a quick burst of speed when used. This is especially useful when exploring the vast desert of Sol Valley.
