How to Unlock Psychic Spider Ball

Return to the Ice Belt After Unlocking Thunder Shot

How to Get Psychic Spider Ball

Return to Ice Belt and head to the Ancient Temple subsection after unlocking Thunder Shot and go through the door in the Lobby. Continue along the route and place the Psychic Nodes in the slots to reveal the upgrade.

How to Get: Scan the Psychic aura to make a Psychic Boost Rail appear. Ride the rail to get the upgrade.

How to Get: Use the Psychic Visor to scan the Psychic Rail Boost, then enter it and use Psychic Boost Ball to reach it.

How to Get: On the side of the building, find the blue switch with a Magnetic Track next to it. Shoot the switch to activate the Magnetic Track, then go up the track with the Psychic Spider Ball. On top of the building, use the Control Beam to reach down to hit the switch again and reactivate the Magnetic Track, and ride it to the top to reach the upgrade.

How to Get: From the start, go clockwise around the tower, then follow the course of Magnetic Tracks around to the back. At the end, time your Morph Bombs well to reach the top and find the upgrade.

How to Get: After getting the Psychic Spider Ball, go up the Magnetic Track on the wall to reach the upgrade.

How to Get: After unlocking the Psychic Spider Ball, use the Tether Nodes to launch yourself up. Use a Morph Bomb on each of the red lights to turn it green; if you take too long, they will turn red again. The upgrade will be accessible when both lights are green at the same time.

How to Get: After unlocking the Psychic Spider Ball, ride the Magnetic Track and launch off with the Psychic Boost Ball to reach the Tether Node. Swing across and find the upgrade on the Magnetic Track on the opposite side.

How to Get: Obtain Psychic Spider Ball first then go to the room with the hibernation pods, jump down to the floor below and find a Morph Ball slot which will take you down a level. Ride the Magnetic Tracks to the end to find the upgrade.

How to Get: On entering the room, look to the left to see a Magnetic Track. Use the Psychic Spider Ball to go up; avoid the electric sparks and reach the top to get the upgrade.

How to Get: Get onto the Ore Loading Machinery and use Morph Ball to roll to the end of the machine

How to Get: From the bottom of the Manufacturing Floor, have the crane pick you up in Morph Ball form, then continue ahead to find a Magnetic Track. Ride the track with Psychic Spider Ball then Block the Electric sparks. Go up the right side path and wait behind the first grey tile, then go up to reach the top. Go a bit to the right to get to the platform.

Area: Tower 2 Generator
How to Get: From the edge of the Generator platform, use the Psychic Spider Ball to go across the Magnetic Track, then jump across the gap using the Tether Nodes. The upgrade is hidden in a box on the other side.

Area: Lava Lake Bridge
How to Get: With the Psychic Spider Ball, use the Tether Nodes to launch yourself up while avoiding the steam from the vents. Find the upgrade at the top.

These are all the collectibles unlocked primarily with the Psychic Spider Ball upgrade. The Psychic Spider Ball is used to traverse magnetic tracks that lead to previously inaccessible upgrades.
