The Nintendo Joy-Con 2 provides the best gaming experience for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, as it seamlessly ties together the different control schemes you can use to experience Viewros through Samus' eyes.
By simply shifting how you hold the controller, you can play with dual stick, pointer, or mouse controls.

The Pro Controller is highly recommended for players who want to stick to the traditional Dual Stick controls. It can be used for the tabletop and docked modes when gaming, and it also has motion sensors for aiming with pointer controls.
We suggest using it if you have it, especially if you have the Switch 1 Edition of the game or prefer not to use Mouse Controls.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is best enjoyed with the setup you're most comfortable with. That said, the Pointer Control Scheme is a good starting point, as it provides a faster way to pan and aim the camera with.
