The Scan Visor is Samus' best ability in her suit. When starting out, use it to log the different enemies, objects, statues, and areas you encounter while exploring Viewros.
It is particularly useful in exploration, as it gives hints on which tools to use to solve puzzles, what to use to destroy blockages, and which weapons are effective on certain enemies.

Viewros is divided into five main areas: Fury Green, Volt Forge, Ice Belt, Flare Pool, and Chrono Tower. Between them is Sol Valley, acting as the empty, yet vast land that ties all of them together.
Viewros (Sol Valley) Interactive Map
Vi-O-La is a new vehicle that you can use to cross Sol Valley quickly in Viewros. You can unlock it after exploring Volt Forge for the first time.
Be careful while crossing the valley, as enemies will still show up to attack you.
With the vast ecology found in Viewros, Samus' weapons work a lot better with different enemies. Bosses, in particular, tend to have unique mechanics that will require you to use Samus' new power ups in the area to beat them.
All Upgrades and Psychic Abilities
Lock on to targets and strafe with the left joystick while fighting enemies. To dash, double-press the B or L button quickly while strafing to dodge attacks.
Energy Tanks are found throughout Viewros and can be collected by Samus to increase her max energy capacity. This lets her soak up more damage while dealing with enemies in battle.

While exploring Viewros, you will encounter different NPCs that you can befriend and make as companions. These companions will be helping you navigate the planet and can give hints to solving the puzzles of each area.

Doors in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond have special mechanics that require you to utilize Samus' different power ups to open them. The Psychic Visor is used a lot to slow down time and manipulate objects to unlock their mechanics.

In each major area of Viewros, a Scout Bot can be seen lying around. You can use the Thunder Shot on them, as they will reveal all missed collectibles in the biome.
