List of All Missables

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has some content that you can miss once you reach the endgame and enter the point of no return. Here is a list of missable content that you need to 100% the game.

Logbook Scans

Counted in Logbook Not Counted in Logbook

To achieve 100% game completion, you must get all the logbook entries from the different items, creatures, and areas of Viewros. Do take note that not all scans make an entry, so check out our guide below for all required entries!

List of Logbooks and Scans Guide

Boss Scans

Aberax
Some boss scans are missable once you defeat them in the game. Make sure to get a logbook entry of them while in combat by scanning them with your Visor.

If you missed scanning the main bosses: Carvex, Xelios, Keratos, or Phenoros, you can return to the Sanctum of Guardians in Fury Green and interact with the Playback Device to generate holograms of these bosses.

List of Bosses

Collectibles

Collectibles and 100% Completion Guides
Shot Expansion Missile Expansion
Psychic Power Bomb Expansion Energy Tank
Mech Parts Scout Bots

All Collectibles not acquired before reaching Sylux's final fight at the top of Chrono Tower will be missed permanently. Make sure to acquire all Energy Tanks, Ammo Expansions, Scout Bots and Mech Parts before heading to the point-of-no-return later!

No Collectible is Truly Missable

Shot Expansion Sol Valley FP OW

Every collectible in the game is accessible the moment you unlock most of your upgrade abilities, meaning you will not be losing a single item in the game regardless of your progress until you reach Sylux's final fight.

Note: The only collectible in UTO Research Center, an Energy Tank, cannot be missed as you will be forced to go through the vents where the item is to proceed forward.

Hard Difficulty Setting

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond - Hard Difficulty Missable
You may only unlock the Hard Difficulty Setting if you play and finish the game on Normal Mode.

Before the final fight with Sylux, a prompt will be appearing if you want to order the troopers to move forward. This marks the point of no return for the endgame, so you cannot return to all areas of Viewros once you press Yes.
