  2. Boss Scans
  3. Collectibles
  4. Hard Difficulty Setting

Logbook Scans

Counted in Logbook Not Counted in Logbook

To achieve 100% game completion, you must get all the logbook entries from the different items, creatures, and areas of Viewros. Do take note that not all scans make an entry, so check out our guide below for all required entries!

List of Logbooks and Scans Guide

Prologue Logbook Entries

Scan Details Guide Image
Galactic Federation Trooper

Category: Biology
Subcategory: Gal Fed
Region: UTO Research Center
How to Get: You can scan any trooper from the Galactic Federation in the introduction and tutorial.

Space Pirate

Category: Biology
Subcategory: Sylux Forces
Region: UTO Research Center
Area: Launch Pad
How to Get: The earliest you can scan a Space Pirate is during the introduction scene in the Launching Pad of the UTO Research Center.

Aberax

Category: Biology
Subcategory: Sylux Forces
Region: UTO Research Center
Area: Hangar
How to Get: Scan Aberax as soon as you fight him in the Hangar of the UTO Research Center.

The prologue logbook scans are entirely missable. We suggest getting to most of them before you fight Aberax, as you will get transported to Viewros once the battle ends.

Boss Scans

Aberax
Some boss scans are missable once you defeat them in the game. Make sure to get a logbook entry of them while in combat by scanning them with your Visor.

If you missed scanning the main bosses: Carvex, Xelios, Keratos, or Phenoros, you can return to the Sanctum of Guardians in Fury Green and interact with the Playback Device to generate holograms of these bosses.

There are various collectible items that you can miss once you progress to the endgame. Ensure to collect them when possible, as they are also required to 100% the game.

Unlocking the Door to Aberax Boss

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond - Aberax Arena Door
Once you enter the Aberax Boss Arena, you can no longer scan the logbook entries for UTO Research Center other than Aberax itself.

We suggest completing the scans for the area before entering, as you cannot return back to the facility once the fight commences.

Order the Troopers to Move Forward

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond - Point of No Return Prompt
Before the final fight with Sylux, a prompt will be appearing if you want to order the troopers to move forward. This marks the point of no return for the endgame, so you cannot return to all areas of Viewros once you press Yes.

Make a Manual Save file before you progress the story so you can 100% the game in this duplicate slot, if you haven't!
