Sylux is fought for the first time beyond the Tower 2 Generator in the Volt Forge and is fought immediately after Flight Drone MCU. After beating Flight Drone MCU, use Morph Ball to enter the chute and platform your way to the top where Sylux's boss arena is.
You encounter Sylux three times in three separate boss fights as you progress through the game. You fight Sylux twice in Volt Forge and for the last time as the final boss in the Chrono Tower.
Sylux Boss Tips

Sylux has a fast melee attack that can catch you off-guard. After he raises his arm cannon, dash to evade the incoming slash. Sylux will also perform a follow-up attack by releasing homing projectiles. Dash away to evade them.
You can dash by locking on to your target and pressing B twice while moving in your desired direction.
Sylux performs a spinning tornado attack that pursues you around the arena. In this state, you cannot shoot Sylux as the shots will bounce off his shield. To combat this, use Morph Ball to bait Sylux to the wall, then plant Morph Bombs to stun him. Press A or ZR to plant bombs.
You will need to detonate a few bombs before Sylux is temporarily stunned and reverts to his normal state.
Triple Volley
---
Sylux flies overhead and shoots a triple volley of electric shock projectiles raining down the arena. Simply stay out of the way to avoid being hit.
Ground Slam
Sylux flies overhead and performs a ground slam, creating an electric shockwave that pulsates throughout the arena. Jump over the shockwave to dodge it.
Electric Beam
Sylux fires an electric beam in a semi-circular motion, hitting you if you are caught in its trajectory. Use Morph Ball to duck under the beam.
Because Sylux has no weak points, the most straightforward way of beating him is to simply keep shooting him. Between firing shots, take care to dodge out of the way whenever Sylux performs any of his melee or ranged attacks.
